Writing has always been an important skill of mine. Serving as one of many creative outlets, I have been able to practice skills learned in the classroom and couple it with my creativity. The samples below feature blog posts, newswriting samples, and articles
As an opinion writer I was given a great deal of freedom on the topics I covered. Thus, I mainly wrote about my interests or something interesting I learned in class. My articles ranged from Kylo Ren to Division in Saint Louis. I decided to write about topics that were not too controversial but still attention grabbing.
As part of my Newswriting course I created a blog to keep track of various entries and writing samples. Some of these articles detail Learning through Volunteering and a story covering the opening of a new Democratic Office in STL
