Marketicity Internship

During the Summer of 2019, I was fortunate enough to intern with a marketing agency called Marketicity. Despite it being small in size, the agency dealt with a wide variety of clients. Some of their biggest clients are Sazerac Company and Beck Flavors, and ranging to regional clients such as: Harrisonville Telephone Company, Bankhead Orthodontics, and Gateway FS.

I was fortunate enough to be involved in almost every part of the agency. I was included in agency branding sessions, concept developments, client meetings, client photoshoots, planning sessions, weekly status reports, and brainstorms. In a sense, I got to do it all!

Daily tasks:

• Proofreading materials to be published (Print, Digital, Copy, Videos, etc.)

• Drafting up agendas, marketing calendars, pitch presentations, social media calendars, job starts, sitemaps, etc.

• Researched websites (both client & non-client) to provide insight on current projects

• Responsible for communication with employees and clients, created/presented client presentations

• And of course - taking notes!

Australia/New Zealand Market Research

I compiled a presentation of AU/NZ market research that was given to two clients that specialize in the flavor industry.

Social Media Schedule

Marketicity helped create roughly 60 videos to enhance Bankhead Orthodontics’ social media presence. I sorted, labeled, and drafted a schedule of the videos along with recommended captions. Moreover, I set up the clients Youtube channel, uploaded the respective videos, and attached key terms/tags to implement SEO.

Website Pitch & Site Map

For Peoples Bank & Trust, I helped develop the presentation that was part of the pitch. I drafted the job start, and have created the site map that was shared during project kickoff with programming & design.
